Wedding DJ Cranbrook & Frankland River WA

Calm in the lead-up. Dance-floor on the night. Stirling Range gateway country — the upper-Great-Southern wine corridor north of the Porongurups.

Check My Date

Cranbrook is the gateway to the Stirling Range National Park, and Frankland River is the western end of the Great Southern wine corridor. Weddings here are often the most scenic in the region — granite peaks behind, vineyards in front, and a long single-lane road home that thins the guest list to the people who really wanted to be there.

One hire, one face — DJ and MC. These are weddings where the venue might be 40 km from the nearest petrol station. The last thing you want is to coordinate two separate vendors on the run-sheet. Starma trained in both DJ and MC and runs the night as one voice.

A farm-country read, not a club read. Frankland River’s wineries are working farms first. Trevelen, Marribrook — these are venues where the wedding shares the lawn with the cattle. The DJ has to fit that. Starma’s been reading rural Australian rooms for over three decades, across more than 800 weddings.

Country-roads logistics built in. Tenterden base is 40 minutes south of Cranbrook and 75 minutes east of Frankland River. Travel surcharge is real but reasonable — and Starma’s worked the back roads enough to know which gates close at sunset and which need a passenger to hold open.

Yes. Starma trained formally in both during the Perth years and has worked weddings as one-person-DJ-and-MC ever since.
Yes. Generator-powered or battery-powered PA setups are part of the kit. Will need to discuss the spec in the run-sheet call so the power budget matches the dance-floor plan.
Often patchy in Cranbrook shire and Frankland River farms. Starma will work the run-sheet so the night doesn’t depend on connectivity — and will have a printed backup of every announcement, every cue, every must-play track.
